Learn to Cook Jambalaya and Etouffée with Chef Jemil Aziz Johnson

And other signature dishes from the man behind Jemil's Big Easy.

New Orleans-born Chef Jemil Aziz Johnson, the man behind Jemil's Big Easy food truck, will teach a Cajun and Creole cooking class at Green Plate Special on January 31 from 3 to 6 p.m. Participants will learn to make some of his signature dishes, including crawfish etouffée, Chicken Pasta Monique, and jambalaya. The class is put on by Chef On Deck, an organization that connects up-and-coming chefs with home cooks through monthly pop-up cooking classes. Tickets for Chef Johnson's class are on sale now.
