Popular Pioneer Square cured meats and sandwich shop Salumi is normally closed on Mondays for prep, but starting February 2 they're going to experiment with offering to-go orders only, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be no indoor seating options due to prep mess.
They're calling it "Mainstay Monday," and they'll offer only five or six of their most popular sandwiches like the beatific porchetta. Customers will be able to call first thing in the morning to place an order and jump ahead in the inevitable line.
