DOWNTOWN Vespolina has announced it will discontinue lunch service until the weather warms enough to permit patio seating. So it will be a while. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL Campfire BBQ is throwing a "hoodang" at Vermillion Art Bar and Gallery on Sunday. There will be music from members of Massy Ferguson and the Dusty 45's and barbeque til it sells out. The event runs from 5 to 11 p.m. and there is no cover. [EaterWire]

FREMONT Book Larder is celebrating the release of issue 4 of Cherry Bombe, bi-annual magazine that celebrates women and food, with an event on January 12. Eater's own Sara Billups will lead a conversation with Creative Director Claudia Wu and Editorial Director Kerry Diamond. There will also be appetizers from Renee Erickson's bestselling book "A Boat, A Whale, and A Walrus," and Sour Cherry Cider from Reverend Nat's Hard Cider. [Book Larder]
