Pam Jacob is bringing her Trinidadian lunch counter to 45th St. Adding to her Eastlake outpost, Jacob will start serving the likes of jerk chicken coconut fried bake sandwiches, aloo pie, and peanut punch in the heart of Wallingford.

After shuttering the original University District eatery to make room for light rail, Pam's expanded to 609 Eastlake Ave. in late 2013. A new location in Ballard was rumored, but now comes word from Wallyhood that Pam's is taking over the space at 1715 N 45th St. The address has been occupied by several restaurants in recent years, including Selena's Guadalajara, Chabela's, Patty's Eggnest, and Salut Bistro.

Pam's was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, with Fieri declaring "they're knocking out the real deal food from Trinidad."
