Cafe ABoDegas to Close; Lost Abbey Tap Takeover at Rhein Haus

DOWNTOWN Cafe ABoDegas announced its closure via Facebook. The downtown spot had earned a following for its breakfast burrito, but in the end, the finances just weren't working out. "We tried super hard to make it work and we unfortunately could not," the post says. [Facebook]

CENTRAL DISTRICT Lost Abbey and Port Brewing are hosting a tap takeover at Rhein Haus on January 28 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Owner and head brewer Tomme Arthur will be pouring Port’s Wipeout IPA, Lost Abbey’s Curvee de Tomme (a bourbon barrel aged sour brown ale, fermented with sour cherries) and a special surprise brew. BALLARD Bastille and Stoneburner are pouring champagne flights and serving food specials on Valentine's Day. The champagnes are available for $9/taste, $18/glass, and $25/flight of three 2.5-ounce pours at both restaurants. Both restaurants will also have cocktail and food specials for the evening.
