Valentine's Day at Ethan Stowell Restaurants; Central Co-Op Raises Wages

CAPITOL HILL Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge is again running its Lost Lake Cares Campaign to raise funds for charities. The third Tuesday of each month, 10 percent of all menu sales for a 24-hour period are donated to a featured local charity. On Tuesday, proceeds will be used to create scholarships to send local students on a civil rights tour of the South led by well-known civil rights leader Dr. Bernard LaFayette.

VALENTINE'S DAY Ethan Stowell Restaurants are offering special, multi-course Valentine's Day dinners. Participating restaurants include Chippy's, Red Cow, Mkt., and Bar Cotto. Reservations are recommended and can be made online or by calling the individual restaurants. [EaterWire]
