Take That, Patriots: A Redmond Restaurant is Deflating its Meatballs

Between now and Super Bowl Sunday, Spazzo Italian Grill & Wine Bar in Redmond is "deflating" meatballs on its pizza. Puget Sound Business Journal reports that while its method is a secret, the restaurant has indeed found a way to flatten its balls "to the perfect specifications."

Spazzo "decided to take a page out of the New England Patriots' playbook" as a response to allegations that the team deflated footballs during its game against the Indianapolis Colts in what has become known as "Deflategate." The Seahawks take on the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, February 1.
