Kaisho's Night Market; Valentine’s Day at RockCreek

CAPITOL HILL — Kaisho has launched a "Night Market" late night happy hour that runs from Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Items available include the coconut chili sticky wings ($9) and the bahn rito ($7).

FREMONT — RockCreek is celebrating Valentine's Day with a handful of "Sweetheart Specials" available February 14. The specials include shigoku oysters, oysters baked three ways, seared scallops, sashimi tuna, and whole fried crab. The restaurant will also be open for brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with oysters benedict and mimosas.

CAPITOL HILL — Sixth-generation mezcalero Asis Cortes will be at Mezcaleria Oaxaca on Capitol Hill on February 2 at 4 p.m. to lead a class and tasting of artisanal mezcals. The cost of the event is $30 per person, which includes the educational session, tastings of artisanal mezcals from Oaxaca's Santiago Matatlán region, and light snacks. Space is limited to 24 people.
