Seattle Noise Complaint Map; $1,500 Month in North Seattle

Without further ado, we present the latest and greatest real estate news from our sister site, Curbed Seattle.

CURBED COMPARISONS — Curbed likes to take a look around Seattle each week to see what you can rent for a specific amount. This week they zeroed in on North Seattle and what's available at $1,500/month. Check out what they found in Ballard, Fremont, U District, Greenlake and Northgate and vote for the one you'd choose.

COOL MAP THING — Seattle's changing but there are some things that remain constant. One of which is the hum of nightlife that pervades the city on weekends and, well, most other nights too. Sometimes that hum gets a little too loud for some folks and its no surprise that certain neighborhoods attract more complaints than others. As is their wont, Trulia made an interactive map of noise complaints from Seattle going back to 2010. Click through to see it in action and find out which neighborhoods are the noisiest (Spoiler: you won't be surprised).

RENDERINGS REVEALED — Tuesday, Wood Partners and Hewitt Architects brought plans for the 400-foot-tall 2nd + Stewart tower at 1631 Second Avenue back before the design review board. Curbed was able to glean some new renderings from the proposal, which call for 177 apartments, 2,800 square-feet of retail and 145 parking stalls. Check out all the potential looks here.
