Renee Erickson's Three Capitol Hill Spots Open Later This Month

The restaurants are actually anticipating an on-time opening.

Well here's a rare and beautiful thing: Renee Erickson and her team are projecting to open their three Capitol Hill spots on time, at the end of October. It can be extremely difficult to stick to these projections when you're opening a restaurant, what with finicky permitting and the challenges of construction, but hey, it looks like the team will be able to stick to the estimate announced back in July. There's no exact date just yet, but we'll know more any day now.

To refresh your memory, the trio of projects will include General Porpoise Coffee and Doughnuts, an oyster bar called Bar Melusine, and Bateau, a restaurant that will focus on in-house butchered and dry-aged, grass-fed beef from Erickson's Whidbey Island farm, La Ferme des Anes.
