In his first pop-up since opening Naka this June, chef Shota Nakajima is bringing the 'shrooms. At Nakajima's Japanese Fall Mushroom Feast, $88 gets you six courses of mushrooms presented kaiseki style, including Grilled King Oyster Mushrooms with Red Uni, Soy Sautéed Wagyu Beef & Golden Chanterelle Mushrooms, and more. An optional wine pairing will also be available.
The 26-year-old Nakajima, again, spent five years training in Japan and eventually worked with Michelin star chef Yasuhiko Sakamoto. Before opening Naka, he cooked at Sushi Kappo Tamura in Seattle.
The Fall Mushroom Feast has three seatings at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26, at Naka. Check out the full menu and pick up tickets here.
