Geo’s Cuban & Creole
Great news, Geo's Cuban and Creole fans: the Ballard restaurant by Golden Gardens has just added a food truck at the Crown Hill Shell gas station at 9796 Holman Road NW. Per My Ballard, the truck is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily except Tuesday. Check out Geo's menus for both the cafe and the truck here.
Petit Pierre Bakery
Petit Pierre Bakery has moved into the the former Finn's Bakery space at 3204 West McGraw Street and is preparing to open October 19, Magnolia Voice reports. Magnolia residents (and former Parisians) Laure and and Alex Le Benoist are behind the new bakery which is named (adorably) for their son Pierre. Expect macaroons, cream puffs, tartlets, croissants, and Madeleines, all baked on site, as well as Tall Grass Bakery bread. There's no website yet for the bakery, and no word yet on hours.
