Eve Restaurant Hits Fremont Tonight

New, 1 comment

With "elevated, new Northwest hippie food"

When Old School Frozen Custard shuttered at 704 N. 34th Street last fall, it sent Fremont into mourning (the Capitol Hill location, joyously, lives). Exactly a year later, the space welcomes a new tenant tonight: Eve restaurant, debuting at 5 p.m.

Details on Eve are still sparse, but it's the work of Jill Buchanan (Matt Janke's partner from Lecosho) and Debra Russell. Russell says to expect "elevated, new Northwest hippie food," with menu sections for The Spread (baguettes and crackers with beet hummus, tzatziki, and other appetizers), Greens and Things (e.g. broccoli and tofu), and Hot Stuff (e.g. an Eve hot bowl, chicken fried barley). Like any opening menu, this one is subject to change, but get the idea below:

Regular hours are still pending, but the restaurant will be open for dinner to start. Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
