Welcome to a special Halloween edition of EaterWire. We may have more spooky restaurant events to report throughout the week, but here are a few to get you going.
WALLINGFORD, MUKILTEO — Ivar's Salmon House and Ivar's Mukilteo Landing are pouring a range of "spook-tacular" cocktails and mocktails all week long, through Saturday. Highlights include a Blood Orange Margarita, Peaches & Scream (sparkling wine mixed with white peach puree), and more.
BALLARD — Head over to King's Hardware Saturday night to find guest DJ Blazon Stone spinning fright-filled jams "and stealing souls" from 9 p.m. until late. Costumes, of course, are encouraged. [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL — Linda's Tavern is offering up both its annual Halloween party with food and drink specials and DJ Curtis Saturday evening, as well as its crowd favorite HalloweenHangover Brunch Special on Sunday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Come to brunch in costume and get 20% off. Artusi is offering six Hallows Eve cocktails for $10 apiece, and the first 20 guests who visit in costume throughout the weekend will receive a free $20 gift card (for use on a subsequent visit). Mezcaleria Oaxaca is having a Dia de Muertos party on the rooftop from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday evening. The bash will debut Mezcaleria's new fall/winter cocktail selections and feature DJ Yambu playing Latin. Free entry, 21+. Get more details on Facebook. [EaterWire]
