In May of last year, Eater reported that California-based chain Habit Burger was on its way to Washington with not one, but some 25 locations. A lot of burgers come out of California, but Habit gained national attention last year when Consumer Reports named it the best (fast food) burger in America. Now comes word that our state's first location is nearly ready in Kent, and will debut mid next month at 12900 SE Kent Kangley Road (in the Lake Meridian shopping center).
From the new 3,300 square-foot outpost, expect the same menu that Habit serves across seven other states. The Charburger is the most well known item, and the restaurant also offers a slew of other burgers, grilled sandwiches, salads, kids' meals, shakes and malts. Check out the full offerings here:
The Kent branch will sit 82 inside and 30 outside, and AJ Jafrey is in charge of the new location, along with the 24 others slated to come in Washington over the next seven years. Stay tuned for updates on the opening date and hours for the new Kent store.
