Satay has closed

Wallingford's Satay announced its closure via Twitter this week after five years in business. The Malaysian Street Food spot shuttered Wednesday.

The Ripple Cafe has also closed

West Seattle's Ripple Cafe has also shuttered, writes the West Seattle Blog. The spot wasn't open six months before a rent increase forced them to close.

There is such a thing as a Hello Kitty food truck...

...and it's coming to Seattle. According to Seattle Met, the Hello Kitty Cafe truck will roll into town this weekend. It dispenses appropriately-themed macarons, cookies, and pink bow-shaped water bottles, and it's here in conjunction with the EMP's Hello! Exploring the Supercute World of Hello Kitty exhibition that launches this weekend. Apparently the truck has drawn long lines in Portland and New York, so be prepared.
