It's time, Capitol Hill. Renee Erickson's trio of new eateries is partially ready. Last night, two of her three projects opened at 1060 E. Union: walk-in oyster spot Bar Melusine and Bateau, a restaurant focusing on dry-aged, grass-fed beef from Erickson's Whidbey Island farm, La Ferme des Anes. Look for General Porpoise Coffee and Doughnuts to open at a later date.
Bateau is accepting reservations on OpenTable and by phone at (206) 900-8699. They'll be open Monday through Saturday, 5:30 to 10 p.m. And Bar Melusine will be open from Monday through Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m., with no reservations taken.
