Chef Amy Beaumier — an expat of Bell & Whete and Local 360 — has a new restaurant in the works that's inspired by the French-Italian Riviera. Joli will be a 52-seat spot at 618 NW 65th, perched on the corner of NW 65th St and 7th Ave in Stumbletown. As of today, Beaumier anticipates a March opening.
Beaumier will oversee a menu of "light and fun" vegetable-centric, colorful Mediterranean dishes for nightly dinner service. An early dish in the works consists of preserved lemon and ricotta cavatelli and locally sourced vegetables.
Chris Yamka, who expanded the wine menu at Toulouse Petite, is stocking Joli’s menu with local and small-label French wines from local importers. Chocolat Vitale owners Janet Eicher and Cameron Johnston, are also partnering in the project, so anticipate some spectacular chocolate options along with Chef Beaumier’s pastries. Look for brunch to launch down the line as well.
