Charlie's On Broadway Reopens With Monte Cristos Aplenty

As you know, 40-year-old Capitol Hill mainstay Charlie's shuttered in June of this year, and according to The Stranger, it'll be reopening on December 10 under new ownership with a celebratory all-day happy hour starting at 3 p.m.

Also responsible for the new Lodge Sports Grille chain, the owners "aim to stay loyal to the bar's established identity while keeping the business relevant in this city's competitive restaurant scene." Over on Facebook, there's quite a bit of enthusiasm for the return of Monte Cristos and mozzarella.
