The start of March brings the kick-off of Taste Washington Wine Month, and with it, a slew of wine-related events. For its part, The Georgian Restaurant inside the Fairmont Olympic is hosting free wine tastings ahead of a six-course dinner with wine pairings.

The tastings will take place March 3 (with DeLille Cellars and Upchurch Vineyard), March 4 (with Betz Family Winery and Ross Andrew Winery), and March 5 with Chateau Ste Michelle and Novelty Hill | Januik). The tastings run from 5 to 7 p.m. and are complimentary but require an RSVP.

The series culminates in a six-course wine pairing dinner with winemaker Serge LaVille of Spring Valley Vineyards. Tickets are on sale now for the 6:30 p.m. dinner on March 6. The Fairmont Olympic is offering a Washington Wine Month stay package if you don't feel fit to drive home.
