Homegrown, the local chain of sustainable sandwich shops, is opening a location in downtown Bellevue this spring. The shop will operate out of a kiosk-style building in the plaza in front of the Bellevue Galleria. Homegrown, which opened its first restaurant in 2009, currently operates eight stores throughout Seattle and the Eastside. The shops source local and organic produce and meat from local farms, including the business's own Sprouting Farm in Woodinville.
