Chef Brian Clevenger knows a thing or two about pasta, and he's leveraging those skills with a new Madrona restaurant called Vendemmia. Clevenger is currently the chef at Ethan Stowell's Staple and Fancy, and before that he worked at Tavolàta, San Francisco's Delfina, and Serafina and Cicchetti.
Clevenger's Vendemmia will focus on handmade pasta, rustic and vegetable-centric dishes, and wine pairings. There will also be a four-spot chef counter that can be reserved in advance. Diners who sit here will be treated to a multicourse menu of whatever the chef fancies that day.
Vendemmia will open at 1126 34th Avenue sometime in June, if all goes according to plan.
