BALLARD — Bloom is hosting a Lewis and Clark pop-up with Chef Paul Staley of Emerald City Cakes and Chocolates on March 30. Staley is looking to the 1800s for inspiration and has developed a menu of oysters, bison croquettes, seared venison loin, and more, using journal entries and correspondence of the Lewis and Clark expedition, along with locally sourced and sustainable products. SODO Ghostfish Brewing is throwing an official Grand Opening party on March 21 starting at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to anyone over 21, with live music, food trucks, and prizes. [EaterWire]
