Paying homage to the prized morel mushroom, The Georgian Restaurant is launching a "Morel Mushroom Madness" menu starting April 1 and running until the morels are no more. Chef Gavin Stephenson's four-course menu will be available for $55, Tuesday through Saturday only. No tickets or registration is necessary; simply make a normal reservation and the morel menu will be made available in addition to the restaurant's regular menu.
Courses include a savory morel and brie macaron, king salmon and morel gnocchi, and morel tart with foie gras. There's even a fungus-themed dessert. Pacific Northwest wines chosen by Master Sommelier Joseph Linder will also be available for pairing.
