Miller's Guild is rolling out a new Sunday supper called "Butcher Block Sundays" involving an decidedly protein-rich menu. The shareable dinners will include a salad followed by a massive butcher block of your choice of wood-grilled Meyer Ranch prime rib, a whole fish (such as black bass), and another rotating protein like pig, rabbit, duck, goat, or lamb. Sides, like hearth-roasted beets and mushrooms are included on the block. It's all roasted in the restaurant's massive "infierno" grill. While the sides are noteworthy, the meat is definitely the centerpiece on the block.
The dinners, meant to accommodate parties of two or more, can be accompanied by wine, sold by the bottle at 50 percent or more off. There will always be a red and a white option, generally priced at between $25 to $50.
