Beloved Queen Anne brunch spot Grub officially closed last month, but there's news now on the restaurant's replacement: Bounty Kitchen is set to open in April.

The new restaurant is owned by husband and wife team Meg Trainer and Russ Raade. Bounty Kitchen will be led by Chef Morgan Kirkpatrick in the kitchen and Chef Eddie Morris, who will oversee the café operations. Trainer writes this about the project:

Bounty Kitchen is a modern neighborhood café dedicated to quality food in flavor and harvest. We are committed to improving the way that people eat with a chef driven menu and a focus on healthy eating. We produce all of our food in house using 100% organic produce and ingredients with the highest quality standards. We specialize in imaginative salads and healthy bowls with layers of texture from old fashioned cooking techniques like pickling, fermenting, roasting and grilling as well as raw and flavors borrowed from ancient cultures and modern blends! We love veggies and delight in elevating them in sense and taste. We will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with beer, wines, juice and coffee. Keep your eyes out for fun weekend brunches with boozy juices!
