ENTER THE AMA-ZONE -- Do you know of any available office space in Seattle? Rest assured, Amazon already knows about it and plans to move into it. The retailer snapped up 817K sf in the soon-to-be-completed Troy Block buildings. The complex at 307 Fairview Avenue gives Amazon almost 10M sf of office space currently or planned around town.
CURBED COMPARISONS -- This week we took a look around Seattle to find out what you can rent for $1,800/month. Even at that price, it's not easy to find a spacious apartment, with most options coming in between 500 - 700 sf. Take a look around and tell us which one you'd choose.
HENDRIX WIRE -- The Jimi Hendrix Park Foundation announced last week that ERRG, Inc. and the City of Seattle are currently pursuing a contract to commence construction on Jimi Hendrix Park. Phase 1 of park development includes a new stairway and grand entrance at the southeast corner of the park, paved pathways, a chronological timeline of Hendrix's life and career, rain infiltration gardens, a butterfly garden, and a performance plaza.
