Chaco Canyon’s Third Location is Now Serving Vegan Goodness in Greenwood

Expect more of a bakery café concept at Greenwood instead of the restaurant café concept at the University and West Seattle locations.

Chaco Canyon Cafe [Official Site]

Owner Chris Maykut officially opened the doors of his third Chaco Canyon Café outpost. Located in the former Cobblestone Furniture space at 8408 Greenwood Ave. N., Greenwood’s first vegan spot has a huge commissary kitchen that will allow staff to tinker with new pastry creations. Loyalists of the University District and West Seattle outposts will be happy to see the same extensive juice, smoothie and espresso offerings. Popular breakfast items such as quiche, chia pudding and buckwheat pancakes are also on the menu. The much loved gluten-free peanut butter pie is also on the pastry line-up at Greenwood.

The Greenwood menu diverges from the other locations as it hosts more pastry options. The Chaco Canyon crew crafted its pastry menu based on popular specials from their other locations. Sweet treats include curry carrot with vanilla frosting cupcakes, apple pie, berry and chocolate ganache croissants.

For 12 bucks, the Greenwood location is offering a combo platter that includes a main dish (GF crepe, tamale or empanada), salad or soup and a juice or housemade kombucha.
