DOWNTOWN — Apparently there is such a thing as National Garlic Day, and it happens April 19. On that day, Gordon Biersch will give its guests a free order of garlic fries, one of its best selling items, with any purchase. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL Cafe Pettirosso has released a new spring dinner menu and new cocktails for the warmer weather. New items include spring risotto with grilled asparagus and snap peas and a spring kale salad with fingerling potatoes and cauliflower. BELLTOWN — Pennyroyal is tapping a keg of Deschutes Brewery's The Abyss Imperial Stout on tax day, which is tomorrow for you procrastinators! A keg of the barrel-aged beer will be tapped at 5 p.m. tomorrow and will be sold for $8 a pint until it runs out. There are about 80 pours, so it's sure to go fast. [EaterWire]
