Kaisho Shuts its Doors on Capitol Hill

It's been a tough year for Kaisho. After shuttering its Bellevue store suddenly a year ago, the restaurant relaunched in the former Blue C Sushi space (12^th and Pike) on Capitol Hill last August, but the team has just announced that it's permanently closed that shop as well.

No word yet on why this one closed, Capitol Hill Seattle reports, but it seems likely that 12th and Pike hasn't seen the last of the team (also behind Blue C and Boom Noodle, which called it quits in the same building November 2013). With their closure announcement, Kaisho tweeted "Back by popular demand, Boom is coming home to Capitol Hill. Stay tuned."
