Hitchcock's Five-Year Anniversary; Niman Ranch at Skillet in June

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND Hitchcock is celebrating five years on Bainbridge Island Wednesday with a tasting menu of classics and current favorites in a ten-course Chef's Tasting with wine pairings. The regular dinner menu will also be available; reservations are recommended for the evening. Starting at 9 p.m., the restaurant will offer dollar oysters, $5 cocktails, $5 glasses of champagne and wine, and $5 small plates. The restaurant has also announced two new hires: J.J. Johnson is coming on as the Chef de Cuisine, and Miles James has been hired as the chef at Hitchcock Delicatessen & Charcuterie. [EaterWire]
