Peruse the Menu at Cuadra No. 32, Now Open in Belltown

Taking over the former Cellars Restaurant and Lounge space (2132 1^st Ave), new Italian restaurant Cuadra No. 32 opened quietly in Belltown May 1. Executive chef Antonio Paloma and his operating partner Anatolia Ferguson are serving up mainly classic Italian cuisine with a focus on Northwest ingredients, including Macrina breads. The pasta-rich lunch menu features lasagna, lamb meatballs, gnocchi, and more, as well as two risottos, sandwiches, salads, and Northwest salmon. Find the full offerings here:

The team has described the space, which sits 70 inside and 20 on its patio, as "rustic industrial" in decor, and bonus for this time of year: there is a pair of full-size garage doors that go up on warm days so diners all over reap fresh air.

Cuadra No 32 opens at 11 a.m. daily and closes at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, at 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 8 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant hopes to add brunch in the fall.
