STATE O'THE MARKET -- Per the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index, March home prices in Seattle were up 7.5 percent from where they were this time last year. Prices are also up 2.3 percent from the previous month. All of this is to say that Seattle is 6th on the list of fastest-growing housing markets and there's no stoppage in sight.

CURBED MAPS -- Have you been waiting for the chance to watch Guardians of the Galaxy outdoors in or near Seattle? Well let Curbed tell you, this summer is going to be the time of your life. That and many other films are scheduled at the summer outdoor movie venues spread across the region. Check out Curbed's map, find a spot near you and get your picnic blanket ready.

FUN WITH URBAN PLANNING -- Fifth Avenue's kinda weird, right? You've got the monorail track dividing three lanes of traffic and causing confusion for tourists, cyclists and turning cars. The city of Seattle has an idea...let's convert one lane into a bike lane, throw in some microparks and turn it into a unique roadway. Check out the details and share your thoughts. It's Seattle, we're sure you have some.
