Bittman Residence For Sale; Cheap Tacoma Real Estate

Without further ado, we present the latest and greatest real estate news from our sister site, Curbed Seattle.

STARCHITECTURE -- Henry Bittman's architectural legacy is intertwined with Seattle's. The Decatur Building. Mann Building. King County Courthouse #3. Bittman also built the historic house at 4625 Eastern Ave North in Wallingford around 1916 and now it's on the market asking $1.8M. There's work to be done but the home, which features murals by Northwest impressionist Fokko Tadama, could be restored into one of Seattle's most iconic properties.

LEAST EXPENSIVE -- A recent TV story on the growing trend of priced-out Seattle home shoppers heading to Tacoma where they can find affordable options and more space piqued Curbed's interest. They decided to follow up and see what people are paying for if and when they give up on Seattle and head south to The City of Destiny. Have a look at the map.

LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! -- Monday was May the 4th, a special day in the world of Star Wars. "May The Force..." Get it? Curbed was reminded that they see a lot of Star Wars-related memorabilia pop up in Seattle-area real estate listings. A lot. Seriously, take a look.
