Take a Look At The Just-Completed Brimmer and Heeltap Patio and Fire Pit

New, 1 comment

It brings 25+ new seats, many covered.

Last Friday, Brimmer and Heeltap christened its new fire pit out back, and this week, the restaurant completed its final interior touches on its expanded three-part patio. To review, Jen Doak's Ballard eatery has had a rear garden (which is now on the lower part of the larger patio, seating 12) since it opened early last year, but in the past week, has opened two new outdoor dining spaces: a covered upper patio with the aforementioned, praise be, fire pit (sits 8-10), and a recently renovated hundred-year-old studio building (sits 15-20; formerly a storage area during Le Gourmand's tenure).

Peruse the finished product above, complete with an outdoor bar, or better yet, check it out in the flesh this weekend when it's supposed to hit—yep—ninety degrees. The patio is open, with the restaurant, from 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 to midnight Friday and Saturday.
