Two classic Seattle waterfront restaurants, Ivar's Acres of Clams and Fish Bar, and Elliott's Oyster House and Cafe 56, are reopening on Wednesday, July 1 after long closures due to the nearby seawall construction. Both are planning special menus to celebrate.
At Elliott's, new items include a geoduck tartare, smoked black cod pate, king crab salad, cured yellowfin, grilled king salmon, geoduck gnocchi, and spicy crab.
Ivar's reopening will unveil a $20 million renovation that includes an overhauled interior, expanded kitchen, additional seating, and a revamped patio. New menu items include honey-cured smoked scallops, razor clams, and paella.
