SNOQUALMIE — Salish Lodge & Spa has announced two winemaker dinners as part of its June Salish Sips series. On June 11, Treveri Cellars will team up with Salish for a five-course meal, and on June 25, Terra Blanca Winery will pour their wines at a dinner featuring herbs from the restaurant's garden. CAPITOL HILL Upcoming restaurant Naka (housed in the former Le Zinc space) is holding a preview dinner ahead of its opening. On June 12, sample from the restaurant's kaiseki menu, a multi-course Japanese dinner involving a progression of seasonal plates. CAPITOL HILL Capitol Cider is celebrating its second birthday this month, and it just so happens to coincide with that of the Queen of England. The restaurant is throwing a British-themed party on June 13 and 14, with themed food and drink specials, raffle, and a Queen of England lookalike contest.
