The Lodge Sports Grille Coming to West Seattle; Brewery Night at the Ballpark

WEST SEATTLE — The Lodge Sports Grille is set to open its seventh location this fall in West Seattle. The sports bar will open in the Junction 47 apartment building between California Avenue and Alaska Street on 42nd, according to the West Seattle Blog. [WSB]

SODO Nine Northwest breweries will represent at the third annual Brewery Night at the Ballpark at Safeco Field on June 18. From 5 to 7 p.m. (before the game) there will be a party on the upper deck with a $30 entrance fee that gets you two pints, a bottle opener, and view-level seating for the game. BALLARD Li'l Woody's has announced the winner of its Ballard Elementary School Art Contest, and the top prize goes to Adams Elementary. As the winner of the art show, Adams gets to create a burger special of the week; their Adams Eagle Burger will feature mac and cheese, bacon, and ketchup, wit ha kid-sized bag of gummy bears on the side. The burger will be available from June 9 through 15 at both Li'l Woody's locations in Ballard and Capitol Hill. The school's art received the most votes of three Ballard elementary schools' contributions on display from May 9 through 23. Proceeds of the Adams burger will benefit the school's art program.
