Upcoming Pop-Up at Sitka and Spruce; Fried Chicken Night at Bookstore Bar

CAPITOL HILL — Ashley Morford-Haines of Chez Panisse and The Herbfarm, and Marco Haines of The Prizefighter and Herb and Bitter will be offering a prix fixe dinner with cocktail pairings at Sitka and Spruce on August 3. DOWNTOWN Bookstore Bar & Café is launching a monthly fried chicken night on the last Wednesday of each month. The $28 per person dinner includes a half chicken fried, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits. The dinners are offered starting at 5 p.m. until supplies run out.
