UPDATED: Queen Anne's Hommage to Close This Saturday

After just ten months under the name, Queen Anne's beloved French Hommage reports on its company voicemail message that it will close its doors "after [Saturday,] August 15." The restaurant was formerly Book Bindery, and when it rebranded as Hommage last October, it also brought in Nico Borzee (formerly of Artusi) as its new chef. No word yet from owners Mike and Sumi Almquist on why the shutter or what's next for them, but Hommage will be deeply missed. It's been a strong favorite on Eater's cocktail map and it won second place last year in the readers' vote for Restaurant of the Year. Stay tuned for further updates.
