Ian's Pizza Coming to Capitol Hill; 365 by Whole Foods to Open in Bellevue Square

CAPITOL HILL — Wisconsin-based pizza chain Ian's is taking over the Capitol Hill space recently vacated by Zpizza, reports Capitol Hill Seattle. Ian's focuses on weird toppings, like Cheesy Potato with Ranch, and offers health insurance to its employees. [CHS]

BELLEVUE — Whole Foods is opening one of its first small-format stores, called "365" after the company's house brand, in Bellevue Square. They'll sell cheaper items and will carry less variety than full-scale Whole Foods locations. Look for the opening in the second half of 2016 in the former JC Penny spot. [Seattle Times]

CAPITOL HILL Naka is hosting a French pop-up dinner on August 17 with chef Yuji Tsuji, who is visiting from France. He'll collaborate with Naka owner/chef Shota Nakajima for a 13-course dinner of mostly French dishes. The $175 ticket price includes tax and gratuity, and there's an optional wine and beverage pairing for $40 per person.
