Jackson’s Catfish Corner, the reborn version of the shuttered Catfish Corner in the Central District, has moved from its tent to a permanent location at 7216 Rainier Avenue S in Rainier Beach.

The original Catfish Corner at MLK and Cherry shuttered last summer after nearly 30 years serving Creole-spiced catfish with homemade tartar sauce, hush puppies, and sweet tea. Terrell Jackson, grandson of the original owners of Catfish Corner, resurrected the family business in a tent near the Rainier Beach lightrail station in May.

The original home of Catfish Corner has sat empty for the better part of a year, but will soon be home to Fat's Fried Chicken and Waffles from Li'l Woody's owner Marcus Lalario.
