Watch 2Bar Spirits Make Whiskey with Locally-Sourced Grains

They're the first Seattle distillery to do so.

2bar Spirits owner Nathan Kaiser named his distillery after his family's Texas ranch, where five generations of his family have lived and worked. Kaiser launched the distillery in 2012, wanting to work with his hands after a career in tech.

2bar is a 100% grain-to-glass distillery, with all products made on site at their SODO warehouse. They mill, mash, ferment, distill, age, bottle, and label everything in the same building.

These photos show Kaiser crafting his Bourbon Whiskey, the first in Seattle to be made entirely from Washington and Oregon grains.
