Queen Bee
Great news, crumpet lovers: the Madison Valley-based Queen Bee crumpet shop is setting up a second location on Queen Anne, set to open in mid September, reports Queen Anne View. Justin Sledge, formerly of Cafe Juanita, is the company's lead crumpet chef, so the new store (and the existing one, if you haven't yet) are definitely worth checking out. The Queen Anne outpost will open in the Aegis Living retirement community building at 223 West Galer St, but be open to the public, same as its Madison sibling. Per Queen Anne View, "The Queen Anne café is designed to be a meeting place, dining spot, and take-out shop for crumpets and crumpwiches to go." Check out the menu here.
