Kukai Ramen & Izakaya, you're on a roll. Less than four months after opening up shop in Capitol Hill, the Japan-based ramen shop is expanding to the Junction in West Seattle, per West Seattle Blog. The new outpost at the 42nd SW & SW Alaska corner spot makes Kukai's fourth location in the area. Kukai Japan first opened in 2002 in Shibuya, Tokyo, and then the premiere US branch opened in 2012 in Bellevue, the Northgate shop came in August 2014, and the Capitol Hill Kukai debuted this past April. (There is also a location in Portland.)

No word yet on when the newest outpost is coming, but West Seattleites seem very enthusiastic about the addition of a non-pho noodle shop to their landscape. Stay tuned for updates as they come in.
