Seattle Cider Co. 2nd Anniversary; 1st Anniversary Party at Bell + Whete

SODO — Seattle Cider Company is celebrating its second anniversary August 29 at The Woods tasting room. From 1 to 7 p.m., 20 taps will pour cider, including seasonals and limited releases. There will also be raffle prizes, giveaways, games, and food available for purchase from food truck The People’s Burger. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL Linda Derschang, owner of Capitol Hill favorites like Linda's and Oddfellows, has moved off the hill and into a condo in Denny Triangle, reports Capitol Hill Seattle. Dershang noted that she is simply downsizing, and will still be spending plenty of time on the hill tending to her businesses. As CHS notes, she's actually now closer to her office above Oddfellows than she was in her Interlaken home. [CHS]

BELLTOWN Bell + Whete is celebrating its first anniversary on August 29. From 2 to 4 p.m., there will be a Doggie Happy Hour; bring your dog to the patio and enjoy $1 off all drafts and complimentary doggie appetizers. From 4 to 6 p.m. and again from 10 p.m. to midnight, there will be live music and complimentary passed appetizers. And at 4 p.m. there will be beer tastings and swag from local breweries, plus samples of Marley's Tonic, made by owner Marley Tomic-Beard. [EaterWire]
