Get set, Seattle: The distinguished James Beard Foundation's Taste America series will grace our city on Friday, October 2, at the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden & Glass, and the lineup is impressive. The culinary extravaganza kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring bites by Westward's Zoi Antonitsas, Imagine Food's Maxime Bilet, Hogstone's Jay Blackinton, RockCreek's Eric Donnelly, and Tanaka San's Eric Tanaka. Heritage Distilling Company will also be hosting a whiskey bar.
Next up at 8 p.m. is a four-course seated dinner at Chihuly Garden & Glass Glasshouse with fare from Sky City's Jeff Maxfield, chef in the hat Thierry Rautureau (Luc, Loulay), Crumble and Flake's Neil Robertson, and Tyler Florence (San Francisco's Wayfare Tavern, Food Network).
