RN74's Behind the Bottle Dinner; One-Run Beers at Hilliard's

DOWNTOWN — RN74 is hosting a wine dinner and reception on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate wines from Domenico Clerico, one of Italy's most iconic wineries. The evening involves five courses created by Executive Chef David Varley, along with wine pairings for each. Winemaker Domenico Clerico will be on hand as well. BALLARD Hilliard's Beer has launched a One-Run Series, "a monthly collaboration in which the entire brewery staff works together to create a beer they've always wanted to make," according to the brewery. Their latest effort is an Imperial IPA, the brewery's first. Previous efforts have produced beers sold in the taproom only, but this one will be distributed around the city after it launches in the taproom on Wednesday. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN The Bookstore Bar & Cafe is hosting another fried chicken night on Wednesday. The dinners are hosted the last Wednesday of every month, starting at 5 p.m. until the chicken runs out. For $28 per person, diners get a half chicken fried, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits, and more. Rotating flight pairings are also offered. [EaterWire]
