Cascade Beer Dinner at Trellis Restaurant; KEXP and Scuttlebutt Release Transistor IPA

COLLABORATIONS KEXP is partnering with Scuttlebutt Brewing Company on a Transistor IPA to help fund KEXP's new home. The IPA will be on sale throughout Seattle starting September 1, and 100% of the net proceeds will benefit KEXP's New Home capital campaign. KIRKLAND — Lompoc brewmaster Bryan Kelly, Trellis Executive Chef Brian Scheehser, and Pastry Chef Sandra Watson are joining forces for a "Cascade Beer Dinner" at Trellis Restaurant on September 10. The dinner will be four courses of locally farmed food from Scheehser's 18-acre plot, plus beer from Lompoc. DOWNTOWN — FareStart, a culinary job training program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals, hosts a Guest Chef Night each Thursday in which a local chef works with students to produce with a three-course meal for $29.95.
