Get ready, West Seattle: your very own Mioposto will debut this weekend, and its Bellingham-made applewood-burning oven is already gearing up. Most all the details for this third branch of Jeremy Hardy's pizzeria are the same as when we last spoke: it will seat 52 and serve the same menu as the outposts in Mount Baker and Bryant, and there is a brick and reclaimed fir wood interior, featuring artwork of local artist Fran Holt. There are some hiring updates, however: Bobby Lynn Rice will be the General Manager (a longtime West Seattle resident formerly of both the Bryant and Mount Baker Miopostos) and Tony Martinez will be Kitchen Manager (formerly of the Mount Baker location).
Doors will open at 4 p.m. at 2139 California Ave SW for Happy Hour this Saturday, and regular hours will be 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Hardy also shouts out thanks to the Café Fiore team across the street for "graciously allowing us to spend so much time in their space interviewing."
